^{From the Elders,}

The elders are striving to guide the congregation to improve family relationships with the Lord and one another. We established a mission for us to evangelize our family during the upcoming year. In keeping with this theme, we will be asking speakers to come in on occasion throughout the year and teach us in areas of family relationships. The first date we set aside for this is February 24^th and 25^th.

Our first speaker to assist us with this mission will be Arthur Medlock from the Lamar Street Church of Christ in Bainbridge, Georgia. Brother Medlock is known throughout the Brotherhood of the Churches of Christ as a strong and sound Evangelist who has always been committed to the cause of Christ. He holds a B.A. degree in History and a Minor in Political Science from Albany State University. He has been a minister of the gospel since 1974. He has orchestrated active ministries in the areas of Outreach, Prison Ministry, Sick and Shut-Ins. He has taught a number of workshops on leadership training, marriage, and youth development.

We have asked brother Medlock to bring us a series of lessons on the Christian Family. This will include our personal families as well as our church family. We know you will not want to miss these series of lessons. We encourage you to mark your calendars, begin praying and invite friends and neighbors who will also benefit from these teachings.

Saturday – 4:30 p.m. – Round table lesson for the Youth Group and their parents

Saturday – 6:00 p.m. – First Lesson

Sunday – 10:00 a.m. – Second Lesson

Sunday – 11:00 a.m. – Third Lesson
